FLEET SOLUTIONS EXECUTIVE 

Hybrid / Remote (with travel)

Decatur, GA

J3 Management Group and J3 Upfitters are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Fleet Solutions Executive to support sales growth across commercial vehicle upfitting and fleet management services, including tag and title solutions.

This role is ideal for professionals with sales, account management, customer success, fleet, automotive, logistics, or operations experience who are ready to take on quota-carrying responsibility. You will develop new business, manage leads, prepare quotes, maintain CRM records, and serve as the trusted advisor for commercial fleet customers while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure outstanding execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities with commercial fleet customers.

  • Respond to inbound inquiries and execute outbound sales strategies.

  • Sell integrated solutions including vehicle upfitting, equipment, tag/title services, registration, and renewals.

  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover fleet needs, pain points, and buying processes.

  • Prepare and present professional quotes, proposals, and recommendations.

  • Manage pipeline, follow up rigorously, and close deals to meet revenue and gross profit targets.

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary professional point of contact for prospects and customers.

  • Build strong relationships with fleet managers, operations leaders, and procurement teams.

  • Provide timely updates on quotes, projects, registration status, and service delivery.

  • Drive retention through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Upfitting & Fleet Service Coordination

  • Collaborate effectively with internal production, logistics, registration, and operations teams.

  • Ensure clear communication of customer requirements for seamless project execution.

  • Support post-sale follow-up to confirm satisfaction and uncover additional needs.

Tag, Title & Compliance Support

  • Clearly communicate J3’s tag, title, registration, and compliance services.

  • Guide customers through administrative processes and state-specific requirements.

  • Help reduce clients’ administrative burden and improve fleet efficiency.

CRM, Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership on performance against targets.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales, account management, customer success, fleet, automotive, logistics, transportation, or operations.

  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business tools.

  • Self-motivated with a professional, customer-focused mindset.

Preferred

  • Direct experience with commercial fleet customers.

  • Background in automotive upfitting, fleet management, tag/title services, or related industries.

  • Commission-based sales experience.

  • Familiarity with platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Kohezion.

  • Comfort attending trade shows and industry events.

Performance Expectations Success will be measured by new business revenue, gross profit contribution, qualified opportunities created, close rates, pipeline health, CRM accuracy, customer retention, and effective internal coordination.

Travel Requirements 25%–50% for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Work Environment Professional, collaborative, and growth-oriented. Hybrid or remote with occasional office presence.
